Nowości na Velikonocach
OK!Sport rośnie w siłę. Łączy nas pasja, sposób spędzania czasu i młodość ducha. Velikonoce ve Skalach to debiut w barwach OKejowych dla Adele i Marty oraz debiut w kategorii kobiecej elity na tak dużych zawodach dla Martyny.
OK! : OK girsl, why did you choose OK!Sport ?
Adele: When I first learnt I was going to Warsaw for my Erasmus, I checked the different clubs around the city and found the site of OK Sport. After a quick look on facebook, I noticed there were a lot of young people, and that the club participates to many different events. Exactly what I wanted ! So I wrote to Malwina, and she arranged everything for me, with the help of Maria, to go to the Polish championships in Zielona Gora. There I met some people of the Club and I was seduced :) Marta: I changed Orienteering Club for OK! Sport, because even though I used to be a member of another Club, already in the past I took part in OK!Sport trainings, we traveled together to a number of competiton events, and - what is the most important - most of people from orienteering that I really like to spend time with are members of OK!Sport :-)
OK! : Wow, that's really nice to listen it. How long have you been running orienteering ?
Adele: I started in High School, about 5 years ago. But with my studies I don't have as much time as I wish to practice!
Marta: I've been running orienteering since 1994, when I first took part in orienteering competition at Park Szczęśliwicki. From that moment orienteering is a part of my life.
OK!: So it's big part of your life. Last week we were in Czech on Velikanoce ve Skalach. Did you enjoy this trip?
Adele: I loved it !! It was my first time running in Czech forests. I think they are beautiful, and even if the races where a bit difficult for me I enjoyed my trip very much.
Marta: Velikonoce ve Skalach is one of my favourite orienteering event in the calendar. It is my 3rd time at "Velikonoce" and I had to admit, this time was the best! From the hostel in Wrocław (thank you Marszał ;-)); Penzion pod Houskou (thank you Malwoszu :-)) to the maps, courses and the terrein - everything was great!
OK!
OK! : What do you thing about your start?
Adele: I ran three races in D21 A. The two first days were okay, I made some mistakes and didn't run too fast. The third race was my best, I oriented pretty well and ran fast. But 2 controls before the end I lost my mind and 6 minutes... Too bad ! At least I am best in the finish line ;) Anyway I really enjoyed the terrain and the traces.
Marta: I simply enjoyed beeing in the forest. It was pleasure to compete in this beautiful terrein. Result itself is the least important issue (and in my case it can be seen on the list of the results - I am rather to be found at the end of the list ;))
OK!
OK! : We agreed that te terrain was reaaly hard and amazing. What plans do you have for this season ?
Adele: None except enjoying myself in orienteering ! I wouldlike to discover more terrains in Poland before I go back to France. In my club back to France I don't really have anyone to compare my results with. Here, we are several girls in the same category, it is very motivating ! So I just want to enjoy being in Poland and being in OK!Sport.
Marta: I was usually making plans regarding orienteering season, especially for the summer period, but this time for now I did not plan enything. I will act spontaneously :-)
Martyna: Biegać biegać biegać. Mamy ciekawe plany wyjazdowe i wakacyjne gdzie chcemy odwiedzić kilka krajów i imprez (Jukola, Tiomila, Czechy, Islandia...)
Dziękujemy bardzo za rozmowę i do zobaczenia wkrótce.
Pozdrawiamy, OK! Team
